[영어학 대치영어학 통사론] Keyword 정리 멘토영어학 5. Constituency​​​안녕하세요~ 오늘은 앤드류쌤의 5주차 강의를 토대로 5. Constituency 에서 나온 중요 keyword 들을 간단하게 살펴보도록 하겠습니다 !이 파트는 앤드류쌤께서 많은 강조를 하셨으니 집에서도 많이 복습하시면 좋을 것 같아요!​​ Q . Constituent란? : ​Constituents are strings of one or more words that syntactically and semantically behave as a unit.​즉! 한 node아래에 떨어져 있는 성분들은 다 같은 성분이라고 말할 대치영어학 수 있습니다. 또한, 이 성분들은 구 단위 뿐만 아니라 단어도 가능합니다.​​​​;​Movement Test​- Topicalisation movements to the left : Topicalisation은 문장에서 한 특정 성분을 대조, 강조시키기 위해 왼쪽으로 이동시키는 것을 말합니다.​- VP-Preposing​: P.S) VP-preposing 시 조동사는 제자리에 남아있어야 하며! 조동사가 없으면 VP preposing을 할 수 없습니다!​-​ Heavy-NP-Shift movements to the right: 상대적으로 무거운 NP를 오른쪽으로 이동시키는 이동입니다.​- Extraposition of Suject clauses : It 대치영어학 from a clause-initial to a clause-final position. 주어절이 문두에서 문미로 빠지는 것을 의미합니다.​- Extraposition from NP Be careful! ENP seems to be more acceptable if the verb phrase is relatively light. ENP는 경동사 즉, 자동사 시에만 시행할 수 있습니다.​​​​​Substitution (Replacement)​​- Substitution of nominal projectioins : NP: A particular string of words is a constituent if it can be substituted by suitable proform.​ 대치영어학 특정한 단어들의 묶임이 적절한 대용형으로 대체될 수 있음을 의미합니다.​(1) SPEAKER A : What do you think of [NP the guy who wrote that unbeliveably boring book on Transformational Grammar?] SPEAKER B : I can't stand him.​​위의 예시에서 알 수 있듯이 SPEAKER A의 NP문장을 SPEAKER B가 him으로 대체해서 받은 것을 알 수 있습니다.​(Other Phrase substitution은 생략하였습니다^^) ​- ★Substiution of nominal Projections : N'(One-substitution): 대치영어학 This means a word that can replace less than a full NP, and this is the profrom one. 전체 NP를 받는게 아니라, N'를 받는 것입니다.​(2) Mark is [a dedicated teacher of language], but Paul is [an indifferent one.] a=>an / teacher of language=&gtone 여기서 보면 one은 NP전체를 받은 게 아니라, N'만 받았다는 것을 알 수 있습니다.
